unity and coherence are important when writing because we must be understood when we write anything such as letters, essays, etc... besides, anything we write, should make sense, have a understandable structure.
ReplyDeletehello there, i think unity and coherence are important, for if we want to write a good essay we must know about both; for instance, how to focuss on the main idea, unity help as to not lose when we write an specific topic and how to keep in that topic, and about coherence it help as to know how to conect one sentence to the next, coeherence help as to be logical in what we say in our pharagraph,in addition, i think unity and coherence are truly important, because the structure of an essay relys on them.
ReplyDeleteUnity and coherence are really important because if the paragraphs do not have unity and coherence, it will not make sense. Every sentence in a paragraph should be closely related to the topic; in this way, it helps to develop the paragraph's main idea.
ReplyDeleteIs important to remember unity and coherence and how we can use in an essay,because thanks to these we can write not only essays unless different types of documents without mistakes and improve our lexic in each one ,in the interpretation in different contexts, focuss on the principal idea and eliminate sentences that do not support that idea.Other important thing would be we can put our sentences in different order but with the correct transitional words to make sense.
ReplyDeleteUnity and coherency are very important in academic writing. We already know that unity means that a paragraph discusses one and only one main idea from beginning to the end. This means that unity allows the reader to focus on one main topic. As well established unity makes our writing be appealing and not confusing when reading. For example, you could be discussing about the advantages of single sex education. On one paragraph, you should discuss the advantage(s) and mention some reasons that support your main sentence. However, it is possible to include some closely related topics too, such as no distraction by the other sex.
ReplyDeleteCoherency is also important because it will take the reader through our writing in a smooth way so that he or she can get engaged not only by the topic but also by the easy way to follow our point.
unity and coherence allow us to focus and discuss about only one idea from the get to go to the end in the structure of a single paragraph.unity talks about one idea and coherence means that the senteces must be related one each other without deviate of the main idea of the paragraph.it helps writers or anyone who write articles or essays to be understood by readers.
